Fisheries officers from Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Philippines, and Thailand are stationed at SEAFDEC/Secretariat as members of the Regional Fisheries Policy Network (RFPN) for the year 2018. The RPFN members play an important role in facilitating closer collaboration and coordination between SEAFDEC, their respective countries, and SEAFDEC Member Countries. They are expected to contribute and support SEAFDEC and Member Countries in promoting fisheries policy that deal with various issues at regional and sub-regional levels. They would have a chance to participate in the meetings and events of SEAFDEC to enhance their knowledge on regional fisheries related issues. Throughout the year, the RFPN members would learn and share experiences through cooperation among Member Countries. In addition, they would also have the opportunity to learn and work together as a team in a multicultural and multi-knowledge network.
