SEAFDEC Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center
On 28 August 2026, SEAFDEC Secretary-General, Ms. Sampan Panjarat, together with Deputy Secretary-General, Mr. Koichi Tahara, and officers from the SEAFDEC Secretariat and Training Department (TD), welcomed delegates from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the Thai Fishrimp Project team.
During the discussion, the JICA delegation provided an overview of the Thai Fishrimp Project, which is currently being implemented in Thailand with JICA’s support. The discussion also provided an opportunity for both sides to exchange views and share ideas on potential collaboration between JICA and SEAFDEC, particularly in support of sustainable aquaculture development.
