SEAFDEC Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center
The “Arrangement for Academic and Educational Cooperation Between the Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology (TUMSAT), Japan and SEAFDEC” was first established in June 2004, and was extended in 2010, 2015, and 2020. Considering that the latest Extension of Arrangement has already expired on 31 March 2025, TUMSAT and SEAFDEC agreed to extend the cooperation through the signing of the “Extension of Arrangement for Academic and Educational Cooperation between TUMSAT and SEAFDEC.” The Extension of Arrangement aims for SEAFDEC and TUMSAT to continue cooperation toward the sustainable development of fisheries in the Southeast Asian region. This Extension of Arrangement will be effective for a period of five years starting from 1 April 2025.
