SEAFDEC Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center
The Twenty-sixth Meeting of the SEAFDEC Information Staff Program (26 ISP Meeting) was organized on 28–30 October 2025 in Singapore and hosted by the SEAFDEC Marine Fisheries Research Department (MFRD). The Meeting was attended by the SEAFDEC Secretary-General, Deputy Secretary-General, Chief of MFRD, as well as senior officials and information staff from the SEAFDEC Secretariat and Departments.
The 26 ISP Meeting reviewed the progress of the implementation of the Information Strategies for Enhancing SEAFDEC Visibility and Communication in 2025 and discussed the preparation and enhancement of SEAFDEC information tools and activities in 2026. In addition, the 26 ISP Meeting also discussed and proposed the preparation of relevant materials to promote the 60th Anniversary of SEAFDEC in 2027.
It is expected that the recommendations from the 26 ISP Meeting will improve the information-related activities and visibility of SEAFDEC in the future. The results of the 26 ISP Meeting will be submitted to the SEAFDEC Department Chiefs’ Meeting on 8 November 2025 for consideration and further directives.
