Inception Workshop convened between SEAFDEC and MRC

Following-up on the signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between SEAFDEC and the Mekong River Commission (MRC) in July 2017 for “the Promotion of Sustainable Development of Fisheries and Aquaculture in Lower Mekong Basin and Southeast Asia,” the Inception Workshop was convened on 1 September 2017 at MRC Secretariat in Vientiane, Lao PDR. The Workshop was aimed at setting up the priority plan of activities based on the MRC-SEAFDEC MOU and discussing the possible assistance as requested by the Member Countries, from the MRC and/or SEAFDEC.
